Claim: We have canines to eat meat

Details

The idea here is that eating meat is OK because we have developed omnivorous canines to do so

Problems With This Argument

1. This is factually inaccurate.

Our teeth do not look like an omnivore's. Since bears are such a frequent point of comparison for an omnivorous diet, go ahead and quickly look up bear teeth or even those of raccoons. If you look in the mirror, you'll see that your teeth are a particularly bad characteristic to choose because it's definitely an argument against carnism.

2. Teeth don't even prescribe diet

The saber-toothed deer has sharp teeth, and so do gorillas, yet both are herbivores. Even these animals have much more aggressive-looking teeth than you but somehow manage to make it on plants alone.

3. Evolution is a bad argument in general

For all of these reasons.
